The short version

  • No personal information from children. Mini Art has no accounts, no sign-in, no chat and no forms. It never asks for a name, email address, photo or location.
  • Paintings stay on the device. Your child's paintings, unlocked items and language choice are saved only on the device. We never receive them.
  • No camera, no microphone. Mini Art doesn't use the camera, microphone, contacts or location.
  • No ads, no analytics, no tracking. Mini Art contains no advertising and no advertising or analytics SDKs, and doesn't use the advertising identifier.
  • Adults only for purchases and sharing. Buying and sharing sit behind a parental question that a young child can't answer.
  • Deleting the app deletes everything. Because nothing is stored on our side, removing Mini Art removes all of its data.

1. Who we are and what this policy covers

Mini Art is developed by Nihilio Yapay Görme Simülasyon Yazılım San. ve Tic. Ltd. Şti. ("Nihilio Vision", "we", "us"), Kocaeli Üniversitesi Teknopark, Başiskele, Kocaeli, Türkiye. We are the data controller (veri sorumlusu under Türkiye's Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data, "KVKK") for any personal data described in this policy.

This policy covers the Mini Art app and the Mini Art pages of this website. It is written for parents, legal guardians and teachers. Our other apps have their own policies.

2. Children's privacy

Mini Art is made for children aged 3 and up. We designed it so that it does not collect personal information from children, as defined by the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and KVKK. Because we collect none, we don't need to ask for verifiable parental consent, and there is nothing for us to sell, share or profile.

Areas meant for adults, buying content and sharing a painting, open only after a parental question. Mini Art contains no links that take a child out of the app.

3. What stays on the device

To work, Mini Art saves a small amount of information in its own storage on the device. None of it is sent to us.

  • Paintings: your child's coloured pictures and their small preview images, so they can carry on later.
  • Unlocked content: a record of which paintings, patterns or wallpapers have been purchased.
  • Settings: the chosen app language.
  • Share image: when you share a painting, a temporary picture file is created so the share sheet can send it. It is replaced the next time you share.

4. What we don't collect

Mini Art does not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, photos, voice recordings, contacts, precise or approximate location, the advertising identifier, or browsing and usage history. It doesn't access the camera, the microphone or your photo library.

5. Purchases

Optional in-app purchases are one-time purchases processed by the app store you downloaded Mini Art from (Apple's App Store or Google Play). We never receive your payment card details or your store account details. The store tells the app only what is needed to unlock what you bought. Apple's and Google's handling of purchase data is described in their own privacy policies.

6. Technical data needed for purchases

Mini Art uses Unity's in-app purchasing software, provided by Unity Technologies, to talk to the app store. To run purchases, this software connects to Unity's online services, which may process limited technical data: a random installation identifier created by Unity (not linked to your child or to an advertising identifier), the device model and operating system version, the app version, and technical details of purchase attempts, such as whether a purchase succeeded. Unity processes this data as our service provider to make purchases and restores work, not to advertise or build profiles. Unity analytics features are turned off in Mini Art.

7. Sharing paintings

After the parental question, a parent can share a finished painting using the device's own share sheet, for example to messages or social media. Before sharing, you can type a name to appear on the picture; it appears only on the image you share and is not stored by us. You choose where the picture goes, and what happens to it afterwards is governed by the service you share it with. Mini Art doesn't send the picture anywhere else.

8. No advertising, tracking or profiling

Mini Art contains no advertising of any kind and no third-party advertising, analytics or behavioural-tracking SDKs. It does not track your child across apps or websites, does not build marketing profiles, and does not sell or rent any data. It makes no automated decisions about anyone.

9. Disclosure

Because Mini Art doesn't send personal information to us, we have none to disclose. The only parties involved are the app store that processes your purchases and Unity Technologies, which provides the purchasing software described in section 6. If we are ever required by law to share information, we will share only the minimum necessary. If Nihilio Vision is reorganised or acquired, this policy's protections continue to apply.

10. Security

Our strongest safeguard is not collecting personal data in the first place. What Mini Art saves stays in the app's private storage on the device, protected by the operating system. Connections used for purchases are encrypted.

11. Retention and deletion

Paintings, unlocked items and settings stay on the device until you delete the app. Deleting Mini Art removes all of them. Purchases remain linked to your store account, so you can restore them after reinstalling with Restore. Technical data processed by Unity is kept under Unity's retention rules and is not linked to your child.

12. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask whether we hold data about you or your child, and to have it corrected or deleted. Under KVKK Article 11 you may request information about processing, its purpose and recipients, and correction or deletion. Because Mini Art keeps your child's data only on your device, you can delete it at any time by deleting the app. For any question or request, email contact@nihiliovision.com. We will reply within 30 days, or sooner where the law requires.

13. Legal bases (GDPR and KVKK)

  • Providing the app and processing purchases: performance of our agreement with you (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b); KVKK Art. 5(2)(c)).
  • Security, fraud prevention and legal obligations: our legitimate interests and legal obligations (GDPR Art. 6(1)(c) and (f); KVKK Art. 5(2)(ç) and (f)).

14. International transfers

Nihilio Vision is based in Türkiye. Apple, Google and Unity may process the limited data described above in other countries. Where data leaves Türkiye, the EU/EEA or the UK, those providers rely on legally recognised safeguards such as standard contractual clauses, and we follow the notification requirements of KVKK Article 9.

15. This website

This website sets no cookies of its own and uses no analytics and no advertising. Fonts and images are served from our own site, and the Mini Art pages contain no third-party content. Our hosting provider (Google Firebase Hosting) processes standard technical data such as IP addresses in server logs to deliver pages and keep the service secure. If you email us, we use your message only to reply.

16. Changes to this policy

We will update the date above when this policy changes. If a change affects how children's data is collected or used, we will tell parents in the app beforehand and ask for consent where the law requires.
